A connection does not automatically copy an entire account to your Mac. Each guide tells you what joins local search, what is fetched when you ask, and what an approved action sends back.

A few things
worth knowing.
Provider accounts, permissions, and limits still apply. Doppel’s Pro plan includes account integrations; Apple Calendar and Reminders can be connected on Free.
Where do I add Fathom, Granola, Asana, or Obsidian?
Open Settings → Integrations → Manage sources → Add account. These use the Selected sources library, rather than the Add integration catalog. Choose the account or vault, then select what to remember and which project can use it.
Do I need Pro?
Account integrations are included in Pro and the 30-day trial. Apple Calendar and Apple Reminders can be connected on Free. Their live Chat tools and actions require Pro or the trial; Free can search eligible personal memory within its history window. A Doppel plan does not include a subscription to the connected provider.
Why is a connection asking for developer credentials?
That beta build does not yet have normal sign-in configured for the service. Contact Doppel support with the provider name and app version. You should not need to register a developer app to follow these customer guides. Stripe, Fathom, Granola, and Asana use account keys or personal access tokens; their guides explain where to create them. Obsidian uses a local vault folder.
Where is Open-Meteo?
Open-Meteo supplies weather when you ask for it. It is a built-in service, not an account you connect in Settings. Weather requests send the requested place or coordinates; using your current location needs permission.
Does disconnecting delete anything?
It depends on the connection. Disconnecting a primary Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Notion, or Raindrop.io connection removes its locally indexed content. Accounts added in Manage sources are separate: remove their sources or disconnect them there to remove those imports. Provider records remain at the provider, and saved chats or exports are separate. Read the disconnect section in your guide before proceeding.
