Before you start.
An invited, configured Figma test connection and access to the design file. General customer connection is not yet available.
What you can do
- Read an exact frame’s nested layers, text, layout, styling, component properties, and comments, with a rendered preview when Figma can supply one.
- Post a comment to a file after review and approval.
Connect Figma.
Confirm preview access first.
Contact Doppel support before connecting. The current file-discovery path is limited to configured test connections.
Find Figma in Doppel.
Open Settings → Integrations → Add integration. Select Figma, then Connect.
Authorize the invited Figma account.
Use the account and team included in your preview setup. Review permissions before approving access.
Return to Doppel.
Finish the browser authorization, then return to Settings → Integrations. Check that access was granted before trying the example below.

Read the comments on this Figma file: [paste a file link].
Start with a file you can already open in Figma. Compare one comment or frame with the source before posting feedback.
Data and permissions.
Doppel retrieves design information from Figma on demand. Posting feedback sends the selected comment to Figma. Files are not automatically indexed as a library.
Current limits
The current folder-discovery permission is unavailable to public Figma apps. Broad customer rollout needs a different discovery flow. Figma plan and seat limits may also affect requests.
Disconnect or change access.
In Settings → Integrations, open this service’s menu and choose Disconnect. This stops new requests from Doppel. You can also revoke its access in the provider’s account settings. Content you already saved in chats or exported is managed separately.
If something isn’t working.
File discovery is unavailable
This is a current preview limitation. Contact support about the configured test connection; changing your personal plan alone does not fix public-app discovery.
