If you’re using the beta

A few things to keep in mind.

Connections vary by build.

Some account connections need a configured beta build or an invitation. The integration guides cover the current setup and limits.

Routines and automations are in Labs.

Review the task, permissions, and proposed actions when trying these features. Availability in a beta is not a guarantee of a final release date.

Useful feedback starts with the version.

Include your app version, macOS version, and what you expected to happen when you contact support. Review any screenshots or diagnostic files before sharing.

Keep your copy
up to date.

Use the update controls in Doppel or a verified installer from the download page. Keep one installed copy in Applications so macOS permissions stay consistent.

  1. Check from the menu bar.

    Open Doppel’s menu bar menu and choose Check for Updates….

  2. Review what changed.

    Check the version and release notes before installing an available update.

  3. Return to your work.

    Follow the updater’s instructions. If a beta build cannot find updates, check with support instead of assuming it is current.
