Before you start.

A Sentry account with access to the organization and project you want to inspect.

What you can do

  • List accessible organizations, projects, and issues.
  • Read an issue, its latest event and stack trace; remember a selected issue’s recurrence, release, and linked issues.

Connect Sentry.

  1. Find Sentry in Doppel.

Open Settings → Integrations → Add integration. Select Sentry, then Connect.

  2. Approve the connection in Sentry.

The configured beta flow opens a browser authorization page. Follow the device-authorization prompt and choose the organization you intend to use.

  3. Return before authorization expires.

Finish approval in Sentry, then return to Doppel. If the code expires, start Connect again for a fresh authorization.

  4. Return to Doppel.

Finish the browser authorization, then return to Settings → Integrations. Check that access was granted before trying the example below.

Choose what to remember.

With Pro or the trial, use Manage sources to remember selected content and assign it to a project. This is an additional, separately authorized connection.

  1. Open Manage sources.

Go to Settings → Integrations → Manage sources. In Selected sources, choose Add account. This is separate from Add integration.

  2. Add the source account.

Select the service and give the account a label. Sign in to the account that owns the source, or approve macOS access for Apple Calendar and Reminders. This account is stored separately from your primary integration connection.

  3. Choose where the source belongs.

Select Choose source. Set Use in to the intended Doppel project, or All-work chats only. A source assigned to one project cannot be requested from another project’s chat.

  4. Select what to remember.

Enter the organization slug/issue ID and a source name.

  5. Check the import.

Choose Add source, then inspect its coverage and Last complete sync. Use Sync now to refresh it. Ask a question in the project you assigned, or an All-work chat if you chose All-work chats only.

What this imports

The selected issue’s recurrence, linked issues, release, and latest event. Local change history starts when you select the source.

Check each source’s coverage and Last complete sync. If access becomes unavailable, the source is excluded from answers until a complete sync succeeds.

Start with something you know

Check the connection.

Show me unresolved Sentry issues in my project.

Name a project you can access and compare a known issue’s details with Sentry. Use the issue link when asking for more detail.

Data and permissions.

Doppel fetches issue information from Sentry on demand. This connection reads your Sentry data; it does not enable automatic Doppel crash reporting.

Current limits

Read-only. The grant is scoped to the authorized organization; do not assume it includes every organization you belong to.

Disconnect or change access.

In Settings → Integrations, open this service’s menu and choose Disconnect. This stops new requests from Doppel. You can also revoke its access in the provider’s account settings. Content you already saved in chats or exported is managed separately.

Selected-source accounts are separate. In Manage sources, remove an individual source or disconnect its account to remove those imported copies and credentials. Disconnecting the primary integration alone does not remove a separately authorized source account. Provider originals, saved chats, and exports are managed separately.

If something isn’t working.

Authorization expires

Restart Connect and finish the browser step promptly. If the expected organization is absent, verify access with that Sentry account.

Still stuck? Email support@doppelapp.ai with your Doppel version, the service, and the error shown. Keep passwords, access tokens, and API keys out of your message.
